 Latest  V8  sky remote made by philips + a tv-link eye ,the eye is used to control your sky reciever from another room ,you need a coax cable running from your sky receiver to another tv ie bedroom which give you sky channels in the bedroom you then connect the tv-link eye in the bedroom to the coax cable before it goes into the tv and connect then join the other end of the eye with a short jump lead into the tv you can then change the channels on your sky receiver from the bedroom
